Life at The Oasis Cancun For Spring Break

The destinations for college spring break 2015 are a lot different today than they were in the early 60's when Connie Francis sang "Where The Boys Are" in the popular movie with the same title. That move put Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on the spring break map, and largely popularized the movement. In those days, the students who went for spring break largely headed for Florida.

Today, the geographical push runs all the way from the Bahamas, The Dominican Republic, Padre Island, Mexican Resorts, Las Vegas, and San Diego. One travel company in particular, STS Travel, has sent over a half million students throughout the world for the festive springtime ritual since 1984.

With students having only about 10 days or so to get to their destinations and back before classes begin again, a very fine tuned process is needed. STS has a very good program with great deals available for the students.

One prime example is the Oasis Cancun which would have to be the ultimate resort for students, as it has everything to offer that they are looking for. The Oasis has over 1,000 rooms consisting of suites and regular rooms, and it sits on a stretch of white sandy beach for a half a mile. The swimming pool itself spans a length of over a quarter mile, as it is the scene of constant parties, with contests and live bands. Maybe you will be interested in one travel to Cancun?

There are 10 restaurants as well as 10 bars in the all-inclusive Oasis, and there is never a lack of events for the students to get involved with. The rate includes all meals, alcoholic beverages, amenities such as the spa, gym, all other resort activities and entertainment venues, and water sports that are non-motorized. This would include windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaks and catamarans. The 9 hole golf course is included as well.

The rooms are all brightly colored in decor and all have great views of either the gardens, the lagoon or the Caribbean. Each room features a king-sized bed or 2 double beds. There is food availability at all times on an Ala Carte basis for lunch or dinner. There are ample breakfasts with all kinds of food.

The food is basically unlimited as well as drinks, as long as it is domestic liquor as well as house wine. Dinners can be as elaborate or as casual as needed.

Special arrangements can be made for party packages which allow discounted entrance to the hottest clubs without having to wait in line. Excursion trips can be arranged, for example, to the nearby Mayan ruins, special cruises, and snorkeling tours to undersea highlights.

One can hit the beach in the morning, dance the afternoon away at the pool after lunch, and after dinner hit the clubs for a festive nightlife.

These kinds of packages are available all over the destinations that STS can book for the students. It is advisable to book the trip as far in advance as possible, for the sake of certainty of your place, and for a good discount as well.
